Sourdough Naan Flatbread

Prep: 30 mins + rising time | Cook Time: 5 mins | Course: Baked Goods | Yield: 18

Delicious sourdough naan bread with an addicting garlic, green onion, and cilantro butter. Bet you can’t eat just one! I like to cut my pieces small but you could divide the dough into 9 equal pieces if you like a larger size. Inspired by Amy Duska of Little Spoon Farm https://littlespoonfarm.com/sourdough-naan-recipe/

2 ½ cups flour

2 tsp salt

⅔ cup sourdough starter

⅓ cup plain yogurt

¾ cup milk
Stir flour, salt, sourdough starter, yogurt, and milk in the mixer for 2 minutes or until the dough comes together into a soft dough. Transfer into a gallon ziplock bag or a non-metallic bowl With a lid or covered with plastic wrap. Allow to rest overnight or until the dough has doubled in size.

Scrape dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut into 9 (or 18) equal pieces. Roll into a circular shape and cover with a towel. Preheat a griddle or large skillet to medium heat. Brush or spray with olive oil and cook naan for about 2 minutes per side.
