4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
¾ cup craisins
1 orange, zested and juiced
1 ¾ cups orange juice
½ cup sourdough starter
2 Tbsp butter, softened
1 Tbsp honey
In a stand mixer, whisk flour, salt, craisins, and orange zest together. Juice the zested orange and add orange juice to make 1 ¾ cups. Stir in along with sourdough starter, butter, and honey. Mix over moderate speed for about 3 minutes. Transfer dough to a non-metallic bowl and cover with a lid or plastic wrap over-night. In the morning when the dough has at least doubled in size, scrape dough onto a lightly floured rolling surface. Divide the doughin half and shape into loaves. Butter or spray oil 2 bread pans and place the bread in them. Cover with plastic wrap or a towel until doubled, about 4 hours. Preheat oven to 375*. Bake 30-40 minutes or until an insta-thermometer reads a minimum of 190*.
