Grapefruit, tequila anejo and a grapefruit seltzer bubble with tart refreshment over a spicy salt rim. Feeling inspired by Jeanine and Jack of Love and Lemons. https://www.loveandlemons.com/paloma/ 


1 Grapefruit wedge

Tajin (or salt and cayenne mixed together) for glass rim

2 oz grapefruit juice

2 oz tequila, anejo or other

½ lime, juiced

2 oz club soda, tonic, sparkling grapefruit juice or seltzer 

Ice, and refreshed as needed 


Pour tajin or salt mix onto a plate or pie plate. Rim martini glass\glasses with grapefruit wedge and dip glass into the salty mix. Place the wedge in glass. Measure grapefruit juice and tequila into the glass and squeeze lime half over. Top with the bubbly of choice, I used a grapefruit seltzer and add ice. Cheers!
