Mocha Cheesecake Brownies

½ cup butter
8 oz dark chocolate chips
¾ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
½ cup flour
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp instant espresso powder
Salt, a pinch
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Cheesecake:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp instant espresso powder
Preheat oven to 350°. Butter or spray oil a 9-inch baking pan and set aside.
Melt butter and chocolate chips in a large batter bowl or other microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes. Stir in sugar, eggs one at a time, and vanilla. Add flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt. Stir until smooth, then spread half of the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla, and espresso powder. Stir until combined, and spread the cheesecake layer over the brownie batter in the pan. Then spread the remaining half of the brownie batter on top. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and bake for 30 minutes.
