Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Decadent fudgy brownies with peanut butter cups and nutter butter cookies layered throughout.

1 16-oz pkg nutter butter cookies

½ cup butter, softened

10 oz dark chocolate chips, melted

1 ½ cups of sugar

3 eggs

1 Tbsp vanilla

¾ cup flour

2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp salt

1 pkg peanut butter cups (or minis)

Preheat oven to 350°. In a 9 x 13 pan place a layer of nutter butter cookies. In a microwave-safe bowl melt butter and chocolate together for one to two minutes in the microwave. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a small bowl and then stir into the batter. With a rubber scraper pour half the batter over the cookies and smooth. Top the batter with peanut butter cups, then smooth the remaining batter on top of the peanut butter cups. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges are set.
