Asian Beef Bowl

A delicious ground beef Asian-style bowl with steamed broccoli, fresh veggies and a lovely chili mayo drizzle over rice. 

1 lb ground beef 

1 onion, diced 

1 Tablespoon sesame oil 

7 cloves garlic, minced 

Salt and pepper, to taste 

1 Tablespoon ginger, minced

1 Tablespoon soy sauce 

2 Tablespoons dry sherry

1 Tablespoon rice vinegar 

3 green onions, chopped 

1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce to taste

1 Tablespoon sesame seeds 

Broccoli, steamed 

Hot cooked rice 

Tri-colored coleslaw

Persian cucumbers, sliced 

Shredded carrots

Chili Mayonnaise:

¼ cu mayonnaise 

¼ cup sweet chili sauce

4 teaspoons franks hot sauce

Sauté ground beef, onion, and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat until the onion is translucent and softened. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, ginger, soy sauce, sherry, and vinegar. Add green onions, hot sauce, sesame seeds, and broccoli. Cover with a lid and let steam for 4 minutes over medium-low heat. Serve in a bowl over rice, then top with coleslaw, cucumbers and shredded carrots. Mixed chili mayonnaise ingredients together and drizzle on top of all.
