Pear Butter Wedge Salad with Lemon Parmesan Dressing

Pears, red onion, candied pecans, and blue cheese dress up a butter wedge salad with a creamy lemon parmesan dressing. My favorite kahlua pecans are linked below. Inspired by Sneji at the Modern Nonna https://themodernnonna.com/wedge-salad/ 

1 butter lettuce head

1 pear, diced

1 red onion, sliced

1 cup pecans, candied or toasted

½ cup blue cheese crumbles

Creamy Lemon Parmesan Dressing:

½ cup olive oil

⅓ cup lemon juice

1 Tbsp dijon

1 Tbsp maple syrup

3 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 cup plain yogurt

Cut butter lettuce head into quarters and lay on a serving platter. Scatter with pears, red onion slices, pecans, and blue cheese crumbles. Drizzle with dressing just before serving.

Whisk dressing ingredients together in a mason or other lidded jar. Store in the refrigerator.
