Baked Artichoke Hearts

Crispy artichoke hearts that are baked not fried and delicious. Served with a spicy cream cheese sauce. Inspired by Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/baked-artichokes/ 

1 14-oz can artichoke hearts, cut in half

¼ cup olive oil

1 cup panko bread crumbs

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion seasoning

1 tsp italian seasoning

¼ tsp salt

Pepper, to taste

Spicy Cream Cheese Sauce:

2 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 lemon, juiced

Hot sauce, to taste

1 tsp onion seasoning

Pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 425*. Line a baking sheet with foil and set to one side. Place artichoke heart halves in a shallow bowl with the olive oil. Mix the panko, sesame seeds, paprika, onion and italian seasonings, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Dredge the hearts in the bread crumbs and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, turn the artichokes over, and bake 15 minutes longer. Whisk the cream cheese sauce ingredients together and serve with the hot artichokes.
