Cheddar Baked Eggs

Eggs baked with a bit of cream and cheddar cheese. Add some fresh herbs, garlic, or swap cheddar for another cheese. Delicious shirred eggs for a crowd! 


1 Tbsp butter, melted 

8 eggs 

2 Tbsp heavy cream

Garlic salt, to taste

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Green onions or chives, minced for garnish

Preheat oven to 400*. Spread melted butter in a pie plate and crack eggs onto the butter. Pour heavy cream over the eggs and season to taste with garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for about 12-16 minutes depending on desired doneness of the eggs. Sprinkle with green onions, chives or other favorite herbs.
