Easy Cheesy Eggs

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 7 mins | Course: Breakfast | Serves: 3-4

Delicious cheese and cream-topped eggs are begun in a frying pan until the bottom is set and finished in the oven until the tops are set. I love the jammy yolk consistency along with the cheese and cream flavor. You could top with green onions, parsley, etc. for color and an additional nutrient. 1 Tbsp butter

6 eggs

Salt and pepper, to taste

¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

3-4 Tbsp heavy cream

2 Tbsp green onions/parsley, optional garnish

Preheat oven to 400*. Melt butter in a medium-sized skillet over medium-low heat. Add eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper, cooking for 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off when the bottom of the eggs are set. Top with cheese and a generous drizzle of heavy cream. Place skillet in the oven and cook for 3-4 minutes more, until the top of the eggs are set, longer depending on how well-cooked you like your eggs.
