Strawberry Raspberry Conserve

Strawberries and Raspberries are a low sugar and soft set conserve. Enjoy over buttered toast, with yogurt or with cake or some other dessert that would love being paired with a berry sauce.
4 cups strawberries, hulled
12 oz raspberries
3 oz lemon juice
2 cups sugar
Cook while mashing in a large stock pot (large, due to foaming). Cook to 214* (or up to 220* for a more jam-like consistency). This will keep in the fridge for about 2 weeks, and freezes well too.
