Mango Berry Margarita
Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 0 mins | Course: Drink | Servings: 4
Bright mango and berry frozen margaritas with lime juice and a mango liqueur floater on top. I didn’t use it, but you could add a squirt of agave to sweeten your margarita if you prefer it sweeter.
2 cups ice
2 cups mango, frozen is fine
½ cup blackberries, blueberries, or even raspberries
7 limes, juiced
4 oz tequila, my favorite is Anejo
3 oz (+ a floater) mango or passion fruit liqueur (the Chinola brand is great) or triple sec
Agave, a squirt, if you like it sweeter
Citrusy flavored salt or tajin, for rimming
Rim margarita glasses with a lime wedge and dip the glass rim into a plate with citrus salt or tajin. Layer ice, mango, berries, lime juice, tequila, and mango, passion fruit, or triple-sec liqueur in a blender then whiz until smooth. Taste and add agave if you want it sweeter. Pour into the salt-rimmed glasses and top with about ½ oz floater of the fruity liqueur you used.
