1000 Island Dressed Salad

1000 Island is a childhood favorite salad dressing, on a sandwich it's called secret sauce and it’s always delish.

Butter lettuce, rinse and cut off bottom core

Mixed medley cherry tomatoes, quartered

2 Green onions, sliced

4 medium or hard boiled eggs, quartered

Quarter the lettuce and decorate with tomatoes, green onion and egg quarters. 

1000 Island dressing

2 cups mayonnaise

1\4 cup red wine vinegar

2 Tbsp. each ketchup, dill relish & dill pickle juice

Garlic salt, onion powder, pepper and hot sauce, to taste

Mix together and drizzle over your salad.  Store leftovers in the fridge in a mason jar.
