Big Mac Tacos

A crispy tortilla and hamburger patty with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and lots of secret sauce; a favorite hamburger flavor featured in a taco, this may be my new favorite food. Yes, they are very messy ;] Inspired by videos everywhere on TikTok and Instagram. 

1 Tbsp olive oil

4 corn tacos

1 cup hamburger

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices cheddar or pepper jack cheese

4 Tbsp dill pickle relish

1 cup lettuce, finely shredded

1 tomato, diced

1 onion, diced fine

12 sliced pickle chips


Secret Sauce:

2 cups mayonnaise

1\4 cup red wine vinegar

2 Tbsp. each ketchup, dill relish & dill pickle juice

Garlic salt, onion powder, freshly ground pepper, and hot sauce, to taste

Whisk secret sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl and have it ready.

Heat olive oil on a griddle or in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Press the meat in about ¼ cup size balls onto the tacos and press them flat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and fry meat side down for 2 minutes or until the patty is cooked through. Turn over, top with a cheese slice and fry the other side for 1-2 minutes, the tacos should be golden and crispy. Remove from the heat and smear with a tablespoon of dill relish, a sprinkling of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and 3 dill pickles. Pour a generous amount of secret sauce over just before serving.
