Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Course: Dinner | Serves: 6

Chicken tenders in a garlic cream sauce nestled over a bed of buttered orzo pasta.

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 onion, diced

1 lb chicken tenders

15 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup white wine

2 cups heavy cream

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tsp onion seasoning

1 tsp oregano

16 oz orzo pasta, cooked per package directions

¼ cup butter

½ lemon, juiced

Basil, for garnish

In a large skillet, preheat olive oil over moderate heat, stir in the onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add in the chicken and garlic, turning the chicken so both sides cook for about 4 minutes per side. Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in the wine while scraping up any stuck bits on the bottom of the pan. Drizzle in the cream, salt, pepper, onion seasoning, and oregano. Cook for 5 minutes, the sauce will reduce a bit and thicken. Drain orzo pasta and stir in the butter and lemon juice. Serve chicken and cream sauce over the buttered orzo. Garnish with basil leaves.
