Cucumber Tomato Salad with a Creamy Dill Dressing

Summer cherry tomatoes with cucumber and green onions tossed with a creamy dill and buttermilk dressing…so refreshing. An amazing and simple salad by itself or you could marinate the salad ingredients for a bit and then pour the mixture over a bed of baby greens, maybe add feta cheese. This is my summer addiction! 

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

2 persian cucumbers, sliced

2 green onions, sliced

⅓ cup fresh dill, rough chopped

Dressing:

½ cup mayonnaise

⅔ cup buttermilk

1 Tbsp red wine vinegar

½ tsp dried dill 

2 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped fine

Garlic salt and pepper, to taste

In a large salad bowl, toss tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions and dill. Whisk all dressing ingredients in a mason jar. Pour the dressing over the salad, refrigerating any leftover dressing.
