Lemon Butter Cod

2 Tbsp olive oil
4 cod fillets
2 Tbsp flour
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 Tbsp butter
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 green onion, sliced
Press the cod between paper towels to remove moisture. Mix together the flour, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Press cod fillets into the seasoning mix. Preheat the skillet with olive oil and cook fish over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove fish to a serving platter and keep warm. Add garlic, butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the pan and stir for about 1 minute. Spoon butter sauce over the fillets and garnish with green onions.
