Mushroom Feta Gnocchi with Cream Sauce

Mushroom feta cheese gnocchi in a garlic cream sauce is a delicious and quick-to-make dish.

16 oz crimini mushrooms, sliced

½ red onion, diced

1 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup heavy cream

16 oz pkg gnocchi

½ lemon, zested and juiced

4 oz feta or goat cheese, crumbled

2 Tbsp chives, chopped

Saute mushrooms in a large skillet over medium heat with the onion, butter, and olive oil until the onion is soft. Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper. Add heavy cream and gnocchi. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, cheese, and chives. Serve warm!
