Red Wine Green Peppercorn Steak Sauce
Briny green peppercorns, rich red wine and glace de veau flavor this amazing creamy steak sauce. Great drizzled over filet mignon.
3 Tbsp onion, diced fine
1 tsp garlic, minced
3 tsp brined green peppercorns, diced fine
2 Tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper & garlic salt, to taste
1 cup dry red wine
1 cup cream
1 Tbsp glace de veau, in freezer section
1 Tbsp butter
Finely dice the onion, garlic and peppercorns. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook till the onion is translucent. Add the wine and cream and reduce to about half, add in the glace de veau and butter and stir off heat till melted. Drizzle over filet mignon or your favorite steak cut.
