Steak Stir Fry with Rice Sticks

Steak stir-fry with veggies and rice stick noodles is not only delicious, but also a quick and easy meal to make. A one-pot meal wonder!
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 red onion, sliced
1.5 lbs Flank steak
1 cup short cut carrots
1 cup broccoli, florets
1 8 oz can sliced bamboo shoots
1 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
½ lemon, zested and juiced
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 (1.5 oz) pkg dried rice sticks, hydrated per package directions
In a large skillet, stir olive oil, sesame oil, and onion over moderate heat until softened, about 5 minutes. Add flank steak, carrots, and broccoli. Cook stirring for another 5 minutes, the meat should be cooked and the carrots and broccoli tender. Add bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, garlic, ginger, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir together and season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and rice sticks. Stir together and drizzle with a bit more sesame oil. Serve with wasabi and soy sauce in little dishes at each place for dipping the meat in.
