BBQ Steak Tip Red Potato Bites

Barbecue sauce steak tips skewered on top of a baby red potato are a delicious bite for your next soirée. 

1 lb baby red potatoes, halved

Onion salt, to taste 

1 Tbsp olive oil 

1 lb sirloin steak tips

Salt and pepper, to taste 

Garlic salt, to taste 

1 tsp oregano 

1 cup barbeque sauce 

2 green onions, sliced

Fill a medium-sized pot with cold water and add the halved baby potatoes. Cook them over high heat until they are fork-tender. Remove from heat and drain off the water. Season with onion salt and allow them to cool.

In a medium-sized skillet preheat olive oil over medium-high heat. Stir in steak tips, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and oregano. Cook until medium-rare or desired state of doneness. Remove from heat and cut large tips in half or to bite-size. Stir in barbecue sauce. Skewer a bite of steak with an appetizer pick and then a potato half placing the flat side down on a platter or serving board. Garnish with green onions.
