2.5 lbs chicken party wings
Avocado spray oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
Buffalo Sauce:
½ cup butter, melted
¼ cup Franks red hot original sauce
Preheat the oven to 400*. Spray oil a 9.13 baking pan and place chicken in it. Mix salt and all seasonings together in a small bowl. Spray oil the chicken and coat with half of the seasoning mix. Turn over, spray and coat the other side also. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn heat to 200* and keep warm for an additional 30 minutes (to crisp the chicken).
Melt butter and whisk in franks sauce; let stand 10 minutes to thicken. Pour sauce over the chicken and serve on a platter with blue cheese dressing sauce.
Blue Cheese Dressing:
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup buttermilk
½ cup sour cream
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
½ a lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp tapatio
½ tsp worcestershire
3 oz blue cheese, crumbled
Whisk mayonnaise, buttermilk, sour cream, dijon, vinegar and lemon juice together in a mason jar. Add seasonings and blue cheese and fold into dressing. Cap and store in the fridge until ready to use.
