Plum Prosecco Cocktail

Tart plum and bubbling prosecco make a brilliant cocktail; cheers.
1 plum, sliced
1 lemon, juiced
¼ cup simple syrup
Ice
Prosecco, chilled
Slice the plum and divide half of the plum into a shaker and the other half between 4 champagne flutes. Using a muddler or a long-handled wooden spoon, smash the plum in the shaker so it releases some of its juices. Add the lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker and shake until the ice breaks up a bit. Divide among the flutes, then top each flute with chilled prosecco or other sparkling wine.
