Ahi fish is the steak of the Seaworld. The sesame sauce is very flavorful and used both as a marinade and as a dipping sauce at the table.

2-4 ahi fish fillets

1 Tbsp avocado oil

1 green onion, sliced & some cilantro as a garnish

Marinade/Sauce:

1 Tbsp garlic, chopped

1 Tbsp ginger, minced

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 lime, juiced

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Garlic salt & pepper, to taste

Mix garlic, ginger sesame oil, lime juice, sesame seeds and seasoning together in a small bowl.  Remove a couple of tablespoons for marinating/pressing into both sides of the ahi. Save the rest for a dipping sauce for serving. Heat skillet over medium high heat and add the avocado oil and ahi. Cook for 3 minutes and turn the fish over cook for 2-4 minutes longer depending on your taste for medium rare (quite pink in the middle) or medium well. If you cook all of the color out of the fish it can become very dry. Garnish fish and place a bit of sauce in a dipping bowl at each person's place at the table.
