Mushroom Rice

Mushrooms, garlic and onions flavor this rice dish. It is quick and easy to make right in the rice pot.


2 cups rice, I like short grain sticky rice

4 cups water

2 cups mushrooms, diced

1 cup onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup butter

Salt and pepper, to taste


Pour rice in the rice pot using your rice pots measurer (a rice pot cup is closer to a ¾ cup measure). Add in the water up to the 2 cup line. Add the diced mushrooms, onions, garlic, butter, salt and pepper and turn the rice pot on.
