Perline Pasta in a Burger Cream Sauce

Creamy pasta pearls filled with parmigiano cheese in a sour cream burger sauce with extra parmesan cheese and green onions.

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

1 lb hamburger

3 cloves garlic

1 tsp oregano

1 ½ tsp salt

Pepper, to taste

16 oz perline pasta

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup sour cream

½ cup parmesan cheese, grated 

1 green onion, sliced

Saute onion in a large skillet with olive oil and hamburger over medium heat until onion is translucent and hamburger is cooked through. Add in the garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, pasta and cream. Cover with a lid and let cook for 3-5 minutes, or until pasta is cooked to your liking. Stir in sour cream and parmesan, garnish with green onions. Serve hot with more parmesan cheese at the table.
