Smashed Chili Crisp Broccoli

12 oz broccoli

Olive oil, a drizzle

Salt & pepper, to taste

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Chili onion crunch or chili crisp sauce

2 green onions, sliced


Preheat oven to 425* and cover a baking tray with foil. Place broccoli in a pot with water and salt and bring to a boil. Cook for 3 minutes. Remove broccoli from the pot with a slotted spoon and place on the prepared tray. Smash the cooked broccoli with a flat-bottomed glass and drizzle with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and sesame seeds. Bake for about 30 minutes or until crispy to your liking. Drizzle with the chili onion crunch sauce and sprinkle with green onions before serving.
