Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Course: Dinner | Servings: 2

Beef tips, feta cheese, garlic and tomatoes in little sammies made with crescent dough. I love the flavors of the Med. Crescent dough is linked below, or use purchased crescent dough.

1 lb shaved beef steak (found at Trader Joes) or beef tips

2 Tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp oregano

10 oz artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

3 oz feta cheese

8 oz ciliegine cheese

1 tomato, diced

½ cup sliced black olives

Crescent dough, homemade or purchased

Cook beef in a large skillet with olive oil, seasoning, onion and garlic. When beef is cooked through, remove from heat. Add oregano, artichoke hearts, feta, ciliegine cheese, tomato and olives.

Roll crescent dough into a rectangle  on a lightly floured rolling surface and cut into 5” squares. Fill each square with about ⅓ cup of beef filling with a slotted spoon. Fold one corner to overlap the opposite corner to secure together. Place sammies on a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet. Brush the dough with egg wash. Allow to rise for 30 minutes and preheat the oven to 400*. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
